Attribution Source Report

Attribution is a key component of any investigation as it provides the users with crucial information which can be used to link on-chain data with real world information.

Merkle Science understands that when using such attribution information as part of their investigation, law enforcement agencies are required to understand how such attribution was discovered/obtained. This is crucial as not all attribution sources may be reliable enough to stand up in court.

Within Tracker, every address which has been attributed has gone through Merkle Science's validation process and all relevant sources, images and metadata will have been stored as part of the attribution evidence trail.

Merkle Science offers Attribution Source Reports upon request which will set out where the initial attribution was sourced from, any relevant clustering algorithms applied and how Merkle Science was able to come to its conclusion.
